A USB to SPDIF adapter using a DIY kit supplied by DIY Paradise.
The top side of the PCB with all the larger components installed..
The underside of the board with the small SMD installed.
This is the first time I've used surface mount components, as you can see from the pen, they are quite tiny, but I didn't find them too difficult to work with.
The completed board assembled into a case.
